Our approach to
fleet training is very different and somewhat unique. We believe this will
dramatically change how companies assess and develop their drivers.
Would you like to reduce your fuel bill by 15%, reduce fuel consumption
by 18%, and also reduce your carbon footprint by 15%?*.
All this, and at the same time manage your occupational road risk?
One
of our clients with 22 drivers could save £11,301.59 per year on reduced
fuel costs alone!
For more details on this, visit our
Eco-Driving section.
You can also expect your incident rates to fall and the added benefit of
unnecessary repair bills could lead to a reduction in insurance claims and
smaller repairs (below excess). This in turn can lead to less downtime meaning
your drivers are able to fulfil their duties.
You will also be able to honour your corporate responsibilities in managing
your occupational road risk.
All our
trainers are of the highest calibre and have completed a course in Advanced
Driving Instruction at
Cranfield
University (Driver Research Group).
All our trainers are also
Driving Standards Agency
Approved Driving Instructors (DSA,ADI) and DSA Fleet Registered Trainers
(DSAFRT).
Due to the exclusivity of what we offer, we are unable to provide full details
on our website. However, a simple demonstration of one of our methods is
provided on our
GDE page and we would be
happy to go into further detail should you wish us to do so.
TESTIMONIAL:
"Fleet Driver Education Services ("FDES") help us as a business
to reduce the safety, eco and financial risks that comes with running a fleet
of company vehicles. FDES complement our existing procedures and tailor their
service to our specific business needs.
Our Senior Management Team is committed to road safety and eco-driving and FDES
contribute well in both regards. As a result we have experienced a reduction in
our fleet expenditure by improved MPG figures and continual reduction in
accident rates."

THE LAW
The new Corporate Manslaughter laws render companies and employers
responsible in Law for the driving behaviour of their employees. The Health and
Safety at Work Act states that employers have a responsibility to ensure the
safety of their employees who drive at work and to ensure others are not put at
risk by their work-related driving activities.
A Prison sentence is possible for those found guilty of not actively improving
the driving of their employees, particularly those they know to be at risk of
further crashes through poor driving habits.
